MADISON – In response to their 2011 Annual Appeal, the Friends of the Madison Public Library received a strong message from the community that came through loud and clear:
Madison loves its library.
With support from several out-of-town donors, the Madison community made the 2011 Annual Appeal the most successful in Friends’ history, with more than $70,000 raised, according to Maureen Byrne, chairwoman of the Friends group for the library at 39 Keep St.
